CRM Dynamics Advance Find and Create ViewsUsman
In this post i am going to explain how to create advance find and save these complex advance find queries into views, so that you can reuse them in future.
Advance find can be used to search for records with certain criteria you choose.
With Microsoft Dynamic you look your data in different ways by using views. System views provide a predefined view of each record type. For example this view shows active contacts.
Please note i am explaining advance find using CRM Dynamics 4 according to my customise environment, it might be little bit different as compare to your system but the concept is same.
Other system views include
- Business Engagement Contacts
- Contacts: No Campaign Activities in Last 3 Months
- Contacts: No Orders in Last 6 months
- Contacts: Responded to Campaigns in Last 6 Months
- inactive contacts
- my contacts
If System views don’t show what you want. You can create personal views. With the personal view you select the criteria for displaying the data. In addition you can add, move or delete any column.
You start by clicking advance find
Let’s create a personal view that contains only those students whose contact type is Alumni and City is Chester.Click on Advance find button and fill in

- Use Saved View: Students
To personalised the view click on show details button.
- Contact Type: Equals Alumni
- Address1 :City Equals Chester
